A liturgy of Christian burial was offered Oct. 19 at St. Jude’s RC Church in Budd Lake for William T. Gall, 80. He passed away peacefully Oct. 15 at his home in Budd Lake surrounded by his family. Born in Jersey City to the late John and Anna Gall, he resided there prior to moving to the Budd Lake section of Mt. Olive Township in 1973. He was a United States Army veteran and served in the Korean War from 1952-1954. Mr. Gall was employed as a Jersey City Firefighter on Truck 8 for 30 years before retiring in 1988. He also owned Doug’s Auto Repair in Jersey City. Mr. Gall was a lifetime member of the Budd Lake Hilltop Rod and Gun Club. He was the husband of Dorothy (Hanley); father of Thomas and wife Natalie, Kelley D’Olivo and husband David and the late William (1995); grandfather of Alexandra, David, Olivia and Thomas and brother of John Gall, Diane Meehan and Robert Gall. He is also survived by his bird dog Roxy and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Services arranged by the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, Landing, N.J.
