High riding skirt leads to fight in Hoboken, police say

HOBOKEN – If you see a woman with her skirt riding up in Hoboken, you should probably mind your own business.
On Oct. 29 at approximately 2 a.m., police were called to break up a fight involving four women in their 20s at a garage on the 100 block of River Street, according to a police report. One woman allegedly had her finger bitten.
According to the report, a 24-year-old woman’s skirt was “riding up” and revealing her backside when she was in the garage. A woman standing by, a 23-year-old, pulled the skirt down to try to help her out. The 23-year-old eventually got her finger bitten, according to police.
The skirt wearer thought the gesture was “inappropriate,” so an argument began between the two women and their two friends. The argument then turned physical, and a boyfriend of one of the girls had to break up the fight. In the end, no charges were filed. – Ray Smith
