A funeral mass was offered Nov. 9 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Jersey City, for Rose Montaldo, 91. She died Nov. 4 at St. Ann’s Home, Jersey City. Born in Campo Basso, Italy, the daughter of the late Maria and Joseph Ambrosio, she lived in Jersey City the last 86 years. She retired after 32 years of service as a product supervisor for American Can Company, Jersey City. She was a member of the Rosary Society and the Bible Study Group at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Jersey City and involved in all activities at St. Ann’s Home. She was the wife of the late Dominick Montaldo; sister of the late Anthony Ambrosio; aunt of Margie Mustillo, Joseph Ambrosio and his wife Josephine, Michael Ambrosio and his wife Janet; and also survived by 5 grandnieces; 1 grandnephew; 1 great-grandniece; and 4 great grandnephews. Services arranged by the Greenville Memorial Home, Jersey City.
