A funeral mass took place Nov. 26 at St. Lawrence R.C. Church for Antoinette Dell’Aquila, 94. She passed away peacefully on Nov. 22 at Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen surrounded by her family. Born in Hoboken, Ann was a resident of Weehawken for more than 60 years. A homemaker and mother, Antoinette was predeceased by her late husband John in 1985. Surviving are two daughters, Mary Ann Mezzina and her husband Marco, and Teresa Greco and her husband Phillip. A great joy in Ann’s life were her seven grandchildren, Marta Ann, Johanna, Marc, Robert Marc, Stephanie Ann, Teresa Ann, and Nicole; and her fourteen great grandchildren: Anthony, Nicole, Anthony John, Marcel, Felicia, Julia, Nina, Phillip, Nicholas, Christopher, Alexander, Sophia, Gavin, and Gabriel. Also surviving is one sister Helen Dell’Aqulia. Ann was predeceased by two sister’s Rose Dell’Aquila and Lucy Truglio. An active member of the Weehawken Senior Citizen’s and the Needle and Craft Club, and a devout parishioner of St. Lawrence Church and its Senior Citizen Group.
