Dear Editor:
You would think that with all the over-development here in town that our taxes and rents would be going down or at least be stabilized – wrong! It’s called sleazy developers who put up high priced ‘luxury condos.’ These developers and corporations don’t have to pay taxes on their properties for as long as 10-20 years thanks to tax abatements! This is wrong and we are all paying for it. I just wish our town was less concerned with ‘open space’ and ‘re-zoning’ and more concerned with the serious plight our town and our country is in and the good of the individual and not the corporation!
