‘Kitchen Boss,’ which usually stars Buddy from Cake Boss, to be filmed in Secaucus

Filming is set to begin for “Kitchen Boss 2” out of a Secaucus studio, according to town building officials. The first season of the TLC show featured Buddy Valastro, who also stars in TLC’s popular “Cake Boss” reality show, as he took viewers through different recipes. According to the TLC website, Buddy cooks everything from pastas and proteins to sides and everyday desserts that make dinner a family event. The studio is a closed set and will not be filmed before a live audience. Valastro will appear in Secaucus at the Chocolate World Expo on Dec. 4 for a book signing of his new book “Baking with the Boss.” Fans can get his autograph and purchase the book for $30. The book signing takes place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Meadowlands Expo Center located on 355 Plaza Dr. in Secaucus. Valastro’s main show is “Cake Boss,” filmed at his bakery, Carlo’s Bakery, in Hoboken.
