HOBOKEN AND BEYOND — Well, New Jersey Nets player Kris Humphries had quiet a basketball off-season. He moved out of Hoboken’s luxury Tea Building in August, married rump-rustling model Kim Kardashian, and starred in a trainwreck of a reality show in which he lived in a fancy Manhattan hotel with Kim, her sister Kourtney Kardashian, Kourtney’s boyfriend Scott Disick, and baby Mason. He fled to Minnesota, was lured back to Manhattan by Kim, and then had to announce that he and Kim were divorcing after just 72 days of marriage.
On Tuesday, it was announced that he had re-signed with the New Jersey Nets. So it’s quite possible that he’ll soon return to the Tea complex on Hoboken’s northern waterfront, where notable athletes like Giants quarterback Eli Manning also reside.
So you may see him plodding the streets of the mile-square city once again, but this time, don’t expect that familiar famous fanny to be bouncing by his side.
