Dear Editor:
As we enjoy the most festive and thankful time of the year, I wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude as a coach and parent to Director Dominick Lucivero, the Hoboken Youth Soccer League volunteers, its board of directors and Director of Human Services Leo Pelligrini for providing our kids and parents with an exceptional soccer season.
This program has grown tremendously and continues to be a magnificent recreation vehicle for the children of Hoboken. The leadership of Coach Dominick and his staff made this year’s transition an incredible experience. I also appreciate their trust to partner up with the Hoboken Housing Authority to run their instructional league at the Mamma Johnson field. It was great facilitating the league, and watching all the kid’s joy in learning one of the most popular, enthusiastic sports made it remarkable. Thank you for all that you do as volunteers and for this soccer season one of the best!
