Funeral services took place Jan. 12 for Herbert Jacob. He passed away Jan. 7. Predeceased by his first wife, the late Maria Brancato, and his second wife, the late Elizabeth Doris, Herbert is survived by his children, Alexander and wife Kathy, Gloria Holder and husband Richard, Hope and husband Felipe Perez, Alex Perez and Amanda Jacob. A devoted father to his children, he was grandfather to Jeremy, Stephanie, Natale, Philip, Theresa and Chris and great-grandfather to Madison. A US Army veteran of World War II, he worked as a machine mechanic for Maxwell House Coffee in Hoboken. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
