A funeral was held Dec. 29 for George H. Crome, 85. He passed away peacefully on Dec. 25 at the Bayonne Medical Center. George was born in Jersey City and lived there his whole life. He was a retired security guard for Spartan Security in Jersey City for three years. He was a World War II Navy veteran. He was the husband of the late Mary D.; father of Dolores Pagnano, Joanne Crome, Catherine Matos and her husband Irving; grandfather of John Crome and Nicole Matos; son of the late Gertrude A. and John H. Crome, and brother of the late Frederick and Robert Linsday. Services arranged by the G. Keenen O’Brien Funeral Home.
