A funeral mass was offered Dec. 27 at St. Clare RC Church for June A. Handel, 78. She died Dec. 23. Born in Jersey City, she resided in Weehawken before moving to Clifton 10 years ago. June was employed as the office manager for the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Hudson County prior to her retirement in 1998. She is a parishioner of St. Clare RC Church in Clifton. June was predeceased by her husband of 32 years, Richard T. Handel. She is survived by four daughters, Judith Segarra and husband, Joseph of Lyndhurst, Janet Suarez of Orlando, Fla.,, Linda Handel and husband, Edwin Morales of Clifton and Donna Handel of Clifton; by a son, Thomas Handel and wife, Mary of Orlando, Fla.; and by three grandchildren, Nicholas Suarez, Samantha and Adam Segarra.
