Hoboken scholars complete internships, make dean’s list

Two Hoboken residents from Saint Peter’s College have excelled in fall internships. During the fall 2011 semester, 84 students from Saint Peter’s College gained professional experience relating to their academic studies through the Saint Peter’s College Cooperative Education & Internship Program. A total of 60 different organizations hosted these student interns. Student intern earnings for this semester exceeded $275,000!
The two Hoboken interns were Jacqueline Algarin, a junior at the college, studying Sociology, who completed an internship with WPLJ-FM as a Film/Video/Photography Intern; and Alyssa Bredin, a senior at the college studying Graphic Arts, whose internship was with the Hudson Reporter as a Graphic Arts Intern.
Misericordia University student Maureen Roche of Hoboken was named to the dean’s list for the recently completed fall semester at Misericordia University. A student at MU qualifies for the dean’s list with a 3.55 grade point average or higher.
