Home Going Service for David B. King was held Jan. 23 at St. John’s Baptist Church, Jersey City. David attended and graduated from Marist High School in 1969 and was the first defensive player to score a touchdown in Marist history. David served a combined twenty years as a reservist in both the United States Marines and the United States Navy. He is survived by his wife Deborah; two children Rahsaan and Christine (Nache); four grandchildren Malik, Nyobi, Noah, and Gavin; brother Gerard King, Jr.; sister Lela Anderson; one aunt Mary, and a host of in laws, nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. Services arranged by the Jackson Funeral Residence, Jersey City.
