SUV apparently crashes into window at Bayonne McDonald’s

BAYONNE — Fire Department and other rescue workers attempted to extract an black SUV after it has crashed through a window at the very popular McDonald’s restaurant at 25th Street and Broadway at about 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6.
Officials had yet to comment on whether anyone was hurt in the accident, although children exiting schools in the area frequent the store for afternoon snacks.
The SUV apparently backed up over the sidewalk and through a window to the west side of the store’s main entrance and into a hallway leading to the toilet area of the facility. Firefighters, police, and tow truck operators were on site shortly after the crash.
