Dear Editor:
I just wanted to tell you that Deputy Chief Jeffrey Fulcher, of the Weehawken PD, two weeks from retirement, was the first on the scene of a fire at 2614 Palisade Ave. He entered the burning building to make sure it was all clear of residents. One older, handicapped woman did not want to leave, but he did convince her she had to go and escorted her out of the building, safely. I just thought it would be nice to recognize his actions.
