Body of Stevens student may have been in room ‘a few days’ before discovery, says report

HOBOKEN AND BEYOND — The body of a college student found on Monday at the Stevens Institute of Technology may have been there for “a few days,” according to an article posted Tuesday afternoon in the on-line version of the college’s campus newspaper, The Stute.
The paper reported that student Mark Testa was to graduate in May with a degree in computer science.
Testa lived in a single room in the Palmer dorm, the paper said.
It was unclear who found him in the room on Monday.
Investigators have ruled out homicide.
The Office of Student Counseling planned to extend its hours this week and offer group discussions.
Testa, 22, was from Spotswood, N.J.
