HOBOKEN – The city has announced an extensive list of events to celebrate Earth Week during the days leading up the Hoboken Green Fair on Saturday, April 21, featuring a series of educational workshops on a variety of topics that will provide the community with an understanding of how environmental awareness can affect their everyday lives.
The City of Hoboken and Hoboken Green Team will host a Green Fair on Saturday April 21, 2012 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Pier A Park along the Hoboken waterfront.
The fair will feature green companies and organizations, artists, organic food vendors and live music by David Calamoneri, Khaled Dajani, Dominick & Jamie Della Fave, Marc Giannotti, Gold & Brown, Rob Nicholas, Roland Ramos, and more.
The Hoboken Historical Museum will offer historic bike tours (bring your own bike) throughout the day. Bike Hoboken will host a family-friendly community bike ride at 2 p.m. and will collect donated bikes for the Hudson TMA bike rehab program. Paper shredding will be provided by the Empire Realty Group.
