Meadowlands Hospital surgery clinic opens

SECAUCUS – Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center opened a new Surgery Clinic on Monday that provides free consultation and guidance to those contemplating surgery.
The clinic will be run by Dr. Ghassan Khani, board-certified surgeon and the hospital’s Chief Medical Officer.
“We know that people who have been told they need surgery often have many questions and are not always sure where to turn,” Dr. Khani said in a press statement. “Our clinic will offer consultation in a comfortable setting. People can come to us for a second opinion, or to arrange for surgery, and to get answers to their questions.”
Dr. Khani, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, has extensive experience in general surgery, such as hernia, gallbladder, colon and abdominal surgery, as well as surgery for soft-tissue masses and skin lesions according to Meadowlands Hospital.
Dr. Khani specializes in traditional and minimally invasive surgical techniques. Those who need specialized surgery will be referred to the surgeons with the necessary expertise and experience.
The clinic opened on April 9 at Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center and will be open Mondays from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and on Thursdays from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. All patients are welcome for a free surgical consult.
