Services were held for Phyllis Layton, 87, on April 21. She passed away on Monday, April 16. Beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Layton; devoted mother of John Layton, Robert Layton, Angela Garcia, Phyllis Stubaus, Laurie Knipe, Peter Layton, and the late Joseph N. Layton; dear sister of Frank Ferrara, Eileen Gannon, and Margaret Reiner; also survived by 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, as well as her sons- and daughters-in-law. Funeral arrangements were by the Vanieri Funeral Home, North Bergen. Interment, Fairview Cemetery.
