A funeral mass was held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church on April 23 for Filomena Rose “Fanny” Esposito, 85. A lifelong resident of Jersey City, she was the devoted daughter of the late Fabio and Adeline Parente; beloved wife of the late Henry “Buddy” Esposito; loving mother of Sylvia and her husband Tony LaForgia, and Debbie Zdyb and her companion Patrick Petrina; cherished grandmother of Marisa and her husband Jared Laurie, Jessica LaForgia, and Stephanie Zdyb and her fiancé Jimmy Diaz; dear sister of Henry and wife Fran Parente, and the late Carl and Mildred Parente, Joseph and Viola Parente, and Thomasina Occipi; dear sister-in-law of Robert Occipi; best friend of “Punkie.” Services were arranged by the Riotto Funeral Home, Jersey City. Interment, Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
