Very territorial?

Dear Editor:
We are commenting about a letter of several months ago sent by Mrs. Geier of Secaucus.
She reported vicious damage to her cars over the years whenever she parks on the block near a certain area. We did see a lot of her damage. The most recent one we know of was when someone threw a bagful of dirt all across her front windshield.
Our family has suffered the same ongoing problem since moving to this block in 1991. Some incidents: a car antenna was snapped off, a boot print kicked into the side of one of the cars, muddy boot print on a side window in an attempt to smash it, mysterious unexplained dents appearing on the sidewalk side of the cars when parked overnight, and numerous keying.
Now another son’s car has been affected. He is a working college student. He does not bother anyone. His car’s mirror was ripped off and smashed into the street in front of our house. It is on the sidewalk side, no car did this. These incidents follow parking in a certain area. One of us parked in a certain area because an injury forces us to park nearby. The damage was done to his car, in our opinion, because we had the audacity to park in a certain area. We are placing cameras and calling police following every incident from now on. We apologize to the police in advance for keeping them busy with our phone calls, because probably someone is going to continue damaging cars and in our opinion would benefit from some anger management classes. This party must be, in our opinion, very territorial.
