Dear Editor:
Well, Hello Hoboken…How the hell are ya? I was really surprised to read in the Hoboken Reporter, the fact that our Mayor Zimmer had placed herself and her people in a position to finally take the blame. What? So between the double talk, the circle talk and, of course the gag on civic employees, called the no talk, Zimmer can finally take the blame and the credit. Can I have a break here? What is Hoboken?…..a strategy, for power and money, or a place to live. The people of Hoboken need to stand up now. This is not about Mayor Zimmer, or any of the council, but the opportunity is just too great for every kind of nightmare. The people of Hoboken need to take their town back. That means putting a stop to the mayor appointing all these people on zoning boards, historical boards, housing, firemen, policemen, civil supervisors and all the little things no one has been paying attention to. All the little things that mount up to real power. Hoboken, take steps to secure your future. Separate these things. Don’t let one person rule. It can really be disastrous or expensive. I know, I know…election is coming up and we are going to see all kinds of nice things. We will see a wonderful summer, filled with music and read multiple gushy letters about how wonderful our representatives are. You know, people don’t remember a year ago. That’s true. You have other things to do besides keeping up with this stuff. Cool, so now is the time to separate a few things, so you don’t wind up with a big surprise!!!! Get going Hoboken. Don’t let your home become a political strategy, where one person can get a stranglehold on everything you hold dear.
