Memorial services were held on June 2 at Woodcliff Community Reformed Church for Henry J. “Hank” Boele, 86. He passed away on Friday, May 25, 2012. He was the beloved husband of the late Marie; dearest father of Henry Randall Boele and his wife Deborah, Virginia Boele Kemp and her companion Michael O’Connor, Maureen Engle and her husband Edward, Aimee Vagts and her husband Drew, and Brian Boele and his wife Elizabeth; cherished grandfather of Michael and Kristina Boele, Korrissa Vargas (Juan), Kandace Zimmer, and Tierney, Taryn and August Vagts; adoring great-grandfather of Calleigh and Veronica Vargas; loving step-grandfather of Calvin Engle, and Madison and Alan Fischer; loving son of the late Auffie and Hendrick J. Boele; dear stepson of Casey De Planque; brother of the late Andrew (Sonny) and Ernest (Babe), and Madeline Smith; loving step-brother of the late Dorothy De Planque Boele and Elizabeth De Planque Tillet, and Bernard (Buddy) Burke. Funeral arrangements were by the Bayonne Memorial home.
