SECAUCUS AND BEYOND — Normally it’s the basketball players who do the dunkin’, but this was something different. Tuesday morning, Hoboken resident and two-time Superbowl MVP Eli Manning appeared in a Secaucus Dunkin’ Donuts to announce a sponsorship deal for the chain’s New York region.
The Giants quarterback manned the counter and drive-thru of a Dunkin’ Donuts to serve customers during a busy Tuesday morning shift.
Manning will be featured in a series of advertisements that will launch during the upcoming football season this fall. The ads will feature Manning promoting various menu items.
“Since I became a Giant, Dunkin’ Donuts has been a part of my daily routine,” said Manning, adding that he often stops at the Secaucus location to pick up a coffee on his way to the stadium.
Manning took no questions from the press. -Stephen LaMarca
