A funeral mass was celebrated July 6 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Kearny, for Josefa Vyzas, 92. She passed away at her residence in Jersey City on June 30. A home maker, Josefa was born in Poland and has resided in Jersey City for over 60 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Bonaventuras Vyzas; mother of Danute Korb (Michael), Monika Lee (Ken), Ryta Kreiss (Robert), Vanessa Muniz (Donald), Ben Vyzas, Jr. (Laurie), K. Joseph Vyzas (Janice), Ray Vyzas and Vincas Vyzas, (Leslie); grandmother of Veronica and Michael Korb, Andrew Lee, Kimberly and Joseph Kreiss, Benjamin Muniz, Matthew, Michael and Becky Vyzas, Mark Vyzas, Jessica, Christine, Brianna and Benja-min Vyzas.
