To the Editor:
The entire Bayonne Memorial Day Parade Committee would like to recognize the effort put forth by Captain Schork for coordinating all the officers that took part in the preparation and execution of the Bayonne Memorial Day Parade.
His officers quickly and efficiently blocked off streets to allow for the large military vehicles to safely pass. They provided escorts to American Legion Post 19 on 31st Street and then to the staging area at Fourth Street and Broadway. During the parade, the motorcycle patrols kept the public safe on the sidewalk as the large military contingent passed.
We applaud Captain Schork for a job well done.
