UNION CITY — Due to the heat wave expected to affect the area through Wednesday, Union City is offering seniors and other residents two cooling sites for relief.
The uptown location in the Community Room of the Union City Senior Citizen Housing building located at 3700 Palisade Ave. will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The downtown location will be open during the same hours at Bruce Walter Recreation Center located at 507 West St.
