A funeral service took place July 7 for Helmuth H. Schneider, 83, of Toms River, formerly of North Bergen. He passed away July 4. Born in North Bergen, he was a retired owner of S and S Auto Repairs in West New York. Helmuth was a veteran of the army serving his country during the Korean Conflict. He also belonged to the American Legion. He was the father of Raymond Schneider, Robert Schneider and the late Ronald Schneider; brother of Annalise Berato; and grandfather of five grandchildren. Services arranged by the Vainieri Funeral Home, North Bergen.
