Cunningham, Giattino receive president, vice president appointments at Hoboken council meeting

HOBOKEN — The Hoboken City Council reorganized Wednesday night and appointed Peter Cunningham as council president. Cunningham, a member of the five-member majority faction and ally of the administration, was the only councilperson to be nominated.
The council also appointed Jen Giattino as vice-president; Carol Marsh was reappointed to the city’s Planning Board. They were both the sole nominations for each appointment. -Stephen LaMarca
