A funeral mass took place Aug. 7 at The Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart, Newark, for Jose B. Munin, MD, 55, of Demarest, formerly of North Bergen. He passed away Aug. 3. He was a physician at Palisades General Hospital, North Bergen. He was the husband of Gisela Maria Munin; son of the late Jose Munin and of Maria Placida Munin; brother of Francisco Munin of Paramus and his wife Ingrid, and the late Jorge Munin; father of Monica Rose Munin and Jonathan Francis Munin; grandfather of Macho; son in law of Christopher Utset and Ana Nudelman; brother in law of Alicia Maria Montes and her husband Eduardo Silvester Montes, and Cristobal Utset; uncle of Eduardo Manuel Montes and his wife Beatriz Montes, Ashley Marie Montes, Jennifer Ann Montes and her husband Mark McCommons, Jaime Utset and Christopher Utset, Samantha Lauryn Munin and Rebecca Eve Munin; great uncle of Tristan Edward McCommons.
