The Unfinished Business team was crowned the 2012 Bayonne Co-Ed Softball Champions when they defeated The Venice, 3-1, in a best-of-five series recently.
In 2010, the team was known as the Wicked Riders and completed an undefeated regular season, finishing 20-0. But they lost in the championship series to the Bruisers. This year the team reunited and had one goal: to win the championship. Coach Tim Yurchak’s team defeated a talented Venice team to accomplish their 2012 goal.
The team members include pitcher Anthony Yurchak; catchers/infielders Jennifer Chacon, Lauren Farina and Caitlin Petronicko; first basemen Vinny Oszmanski and Anthony Oszmanski; second baseman Nicole Velarosa; shortstop Frankie Ajosa; third baseman Jill Erin; and outfielders Tim Yurchak, Anthony Smith, Mike Rizzo, and Missy Mcaloon.
