Funeral mass was held Sept. 6 at St. Augustine’s R.C. Church, Union City, for Maria Hortencia Morales, 92, of West New York. She passed away Sept. 3. She was born in Santa Clara, Cuba and was a longtime resident of West New York. Maria was a processing clerk and worked for General Automotive Company for many years before retiring. Maria was the mother of Maria Cecilia Morales and Jose Ramon Morales; sister of Lydia Ledon. Also survived by eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
