Ravelo of WNY is promoted

Julio C. Ravelo, R.A., a resident of West New York, N.J., has been promoted to vice president in the New York City office of Thornton Tomasetti, the international engineering firm. Since joining Thornton Tomasetti in 2007, Mr. Ravelo has specialized in historic preservation. He has more than 27 years of experience with institutional and residential projects, including building envelope restoration and repair, condition assessment, infrastructure redevelopment and redesign. Mr. Ravelo is a Registered Architect in New York and a member of the New York Society of Architects, Architectural League of New York and Construction Specifications Institute. He has a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, N.Y.
