HUDSON COUNTY – A truck destroyed 15 headstones and a fence at Weehawken Cemetery in North Bergen on Friday, according to NJ.com. The truck crashed into a 100 feet of fence and then hit the stones, authorities said. Detective Frank Mena of the Traffic Division said the truck driver told police that he lost control of the vehicle while he was traveling westbound on Union Turnpike between Bergen Turnpike and Grant Avenue at around 9:45 a.m. on Friday. Mena said that no injuries were reported.
