HOBOKEN — The Hoboken Rotary will host an event on Tuesday, Sept. 18 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Turtle Club, 936 Park Ave., to raise funds in response to the Hoboken Charter School fire. The Turtle Club will offer a complimentary beverage to anyone who donates $10 or more at the door, and 100 percent of the proceeds will go directly to the school in hopes that they can reopen as soon as possible. Additionally, there will be a raffle and silent auction to raise funds.
Those unable to attend can visit hobokenrotary.org and donate through the link on their site. Checks can also be made out to the Rotary Foundation with Hoboken Charter School as the memo and dropped off at the following locations: Midtown Authentic, 728 Washington St. 2nd Floor, Scotland Yard Tavern, 72 Hudson St., and Remax Gold Coast Realty, 56 Newark St.
