A funeral mass was held Oct. 8 at St. Francis R.C. Church Hoboken for Giuseppe Cantatore, 79. He passed away Oct. 4 in the presence of his family at Hoboken University Medical Center. Born in Molfetta Italy, Joe came to Hoboken in 1948. Mr. Cantatore was a retired presser for the M.C.M. Coat Company on 3rd and Adams Street in Hoboken for many years. He was a member of the International Garment Workers Union. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Lucrezia; two sons Jack, and Joseph Jr. and their wives Linda and Karissa; a surviving sister Gracia Marino and his three grandchildren Joseph, Chase, and Tahlia Cantatore. Five siblings predeceased him, Michaele, Giacomo, Guilimena Loiconna, Marie Minervini, and Lucia Amato. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
