Funeral services were held Nov. 27 for Ines Baez of North Bergen, 71. She passed away Nov. 24 at home with her family by her side. She was a first Columbian immigrant to establish roots in New Jersey, which transcended into many future generations. Throughout her life she also pledged her time to service, particularly visiting the elders, collecting donations for the needy and spreading the gospel as a Pentecostal parishioner of Assemblies of God. She is survived by brothers Juan, Jorge and James sisters Maria and Evelina; her children Johnny, Edwin, Mayra, Louis, Ines, Willy and Michelle; her daughters in law Yenis, Sam, Sandy and Lisa and sons in law Miguel and Chris. She will be remembered by grandchildren, John, Savanah, David, Connor, Taylor, Jade, Christopher, Arianna, Jarred, Joshua, Bailey, Gabriel, Isabelle and husband Angel.
