A funeral mass was offered Dec. 20 at Our Lady of Grace Church in Fairview for Gemma Faistl, 74, of Sayreville. She passed away Dec. 17. She was born in Union City and lived for many years in North Bergen before moving to Sayreville 10 years ago. Gemma was an Assistant Town Administrator for North Bergen for many years before retiring. She was the wife of Charles Faistl and the mother of Michele Craig, Denise McDonnell, Joseph McGauley and Janice D’Martino as well as step daughters Linda Lassen and Amy Lenehan. She was the sister of Paul and Carol Munier as well as the grandmother of 15 grand and three great grandchildren. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
