Private funeral services have been held for Mary N. Potter, 71, of Hoboken. She passed away Dec. 9 at Hoboken University Medical Center. A retired Home Health Aide with the Visiting Home Services of Hudson County. Mary spent most of her life as a housewife and mother. Surviving is her son Angelo; two daughters, Cheryl Potter and Christen Murphy; two brothers John and Carmine Pietropaolo; one sister Rachel Rustemeyer, and a granddaughter Gina Marie Murphy and her son in law, Sean. A host of nieces and nephews survive her along with her sisters in law, Gail, Inga and Madeline Pietropaolo. Mary was predeceased by her husband Dwight Gene Potter; four brothers Jerry, Tony, Michael, and Benny; two sisters in law, Stephanie and Mary Pietropaolo; and a brother in law, Bob Rustemeyer. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
