Secaucus Middle School gives back to Salvation Army for third consecutive year

On Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, the Middle School S.G.O. sponsored its third annual fundraiser in hopes of collecting money to give to the Salvation Army, and help those in need. This year’s fundraiser was especially important because of the impact Hurricane Sandy had not only on the state of New Jersey, but on the surrounding communities of Hudson County. Students were permitted to wear a green, red, or holiday related shirt for a donation of $2. All proceeds were presented to Lieutenant Rodriguez from the Union City Salvation Army on Dec. 18.
The total donations collected were $141. This amount was $39 more than raised during last year’s fundraiser. A very big thank you is extended to all middle school families, students and staff for your support!
