Danan Hughes succeeds in PAL games

In the Junior Boys’ Division of the Bayonne PAL Basketball League, during games played on Jan. 25 and 26, Joseph’s Catering defeated J&J Printing, 27-17. Scoring for Joseph’s were Avery Powell, 17; Sephton Perkins, 8; and Tyler Giordano, 2. For J&J, Tyler Johnson, 13; Abdel Farag, 2; and Isaac Young, 2; scored points.
Danan Hughes and Family beat Mark’s Roofing, 31-17. Scoring for Danan Hughes were Tim Worrell, 17; Jeff Van Sant, 9; Landon Paradine, 3; and Ryan Coppola, 2.
Neil De Sena defeated Mackenzie Post, 14-7. Scoring for De Sena were Chris Valencia, 8; Julius Cosme, 2; Zaahir Powell, 2; and Randell Sarrosa, 2. For Mackenzie, Danny Reyes, 3; Nick Rodriquez, 2; and Roberto Trinidad, 2; scored.
Second Mesa beat Hudacko’s, 26-15. Scoring for Second Mesa were Brandon Wright, 12; Chris Ponczek, 6; Adam Zidan, 4; and Nick Escobar, 4. For Hudacko’s, Shawn Agosto, 7; Jason Reiner, 4; Brandon Kobryn, 2; and Conrad Sikorski, 2; scored points.
Shamrock Society defeated Peninsula No. 99, 23-20. Scoring for the Shamrock Society were Ryan Rzepinski, 10; Randell Rankin, 7; Greg Van Sant, 4; and Matty Page, 2. For Peninsula, Elijah Flourney, 12; Matt Dobronsky, 4; and Thomas Dorans, 4; scored.
