HOBOKEN – The ribbon cutting and reopening of the uptown ShopRite store, which has been closed for repairs since Hurricane Sandy, is on this Saturday, Feb. 9 no matter what the weather.
The event will begin promptly at 9 a.m. and shoppers can enter as soon as the ribbon is cut. Mayor Dawn Zimmer, City Council President Peter Cunningham, and Councilwoman Jennifer Giattino are expected to attend. A check in the amount of $25,000 will also be presented to the Rebuild Hoboken fund at the ceremony.
