The hour-long concert is called Like a Mighty Stream: A Community Choral Festival. Mr. Fred Meads, the Director of Vocal Studies at the American Boychoir School, will be the guest conductor. The concert is free and open to the public.
The program will feature The PROS, Mustard Seed Chorus, Mustard Seed Choristers, All Saints’ Episcopal Day School Fourth Grade Chorus, The Hudson School Fifth Grade Choir, The Hudson School Sixth Grade Choir, The Hudson School Concert Choir, The Hudson School Women’s Choir, and The Training Choir of the American Boychoir School. Each group will sing individually and then come together as a Festival Chorus.
“Mustard Seed has a long tradition of integrating the arts into the school curriculum. Making music has always been a vibrant part of school life. This music festival is a great opportunity for our students to learn and join their voices with others. They have all worked hard, striving for excellence. It is going to be a wonderful concert,” said Thomas. S. Postema, Head of Mustard Seed School.
