“I’m voting for Candice Osborne for Ward E Council”

Dear Editor:
I’ve lived in downtown Jersey City for 30 years. I moved to Harsimus Cove neighborhood in ’95. I’ve known Dan Levin as both my neighbor and friend for that time. While I admire his past resolve on community issues, I no longer support him due to his fealty to Mayor Healy and his corrupt, inept slate.
I will be voting for Candice Osborne on May 14th for Ward E Council. I fully support Candice Osborne, a single mom, who earned an MBA at NYU while working for an international web-based company where she manages over 100 people and millions of budget dollars. Candice also started a national award-winning election software company based in Jersey City. Candice is involved with education, arts & culture, (she’s on board of Con Vivo), street safety with a group she formed and active in the Historic Paulus Hook Neighborhood Association. Candice was nationally recognized by Glamour magazine as one of the founders of Jersey City Sandy Recovery, which with a team of 800 volunteers during Hurricane Sandy, she led the recovery process in JC whilst our Mayor Healy faltered on all fronts. When asked why she’s running, Candice said, “It’s simple. I want to make a difference and that can only happen if Steve Fulop is elected Mayor, his slate and myself for Ward E Council Person.”
I think Candice Osborne will make a difference as Ward E Council Person. For more info go to: www.stevenfulop.com.
