A funeral mass took place March 20 at St. Anthony R.C. Church, Union City, for Bernard Nardone, 66, of Secaucus. He passed away March 15. He was born in Jersey City and was a lifelong resident of Union City. Bernard was a police detective for Union City, where he worked for 30 years before he retired. Bernard was the husband of Mary Nardone; father of Nicholas and Christine; brother of the late Charles and late Joseph Nardone; also survived by sister Louise DalCanton and husband Lino; also a grandfather of Nicholas, Michael, Katherine and Stella Nardone.
