Hudson County court night

On Thursday, May 9, 2013, the Superior Court of New Jersey, Hudson Vicinage, in partnership with the State Bar Association and Foundation, the Hudson County Bar Association and Foundation, and the Hudson County Advisory Committee on Minority Concerns will be hosting the 5th Annual Court Night at the Brennan Courthouse, 583 Newark Avenue, Jersey City. Court Night is a series of free information sessions that include Child Support, Landlord/Tenant Issues, Expungement of Criminal Records, Divorce, Civil Judgments, Debtor/Creditor, Bankruptcy and Foreclosure, and Immigration Concerns.
These sessions are free and open to residents of Hudson County. Court Night Part II will provide practical information and resource material promoting a greater understanding of the court’s function. Attorneys and court representatives will conduct the sessions and will be available to answer general questions from the public concerning each subject matter. Each topic will be covered in Session 1 and Session 2.
While these sessions are free to Hudson County residents, reservations are required. To reserve you place, please email Hudson.reservations@judiciary.state.nj.us or call (201) 795-5109. When registering via email or phone, please indicate your name, telephone number (any information provided to the court is confidential and will not be shared with outside agencies), and the workshop(s) and session(s) you would like to attend. Please note that participants may attend both sessions, but are permitted to attend only one workshop per session.
