SASSO, JAMES — 71 of Bayonne passed away on April 28 at Bayonne Medical Center. He was a longtime Bayonne resident and also lived in Waterbury CT. Jim was a Professor of Philosophy at NJCU. He is survived by his loving partner, Linda DeSantis McGrath, her daughter, Jennifer DeSantis, and her children, Owen and Lauren who reffered to Jim as Grandpa “Bud Bud,” and is survived by many cousins. The viewing was on Thursday and Friday, May 2 and 3 at the G. KEENEN O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, Bayonne. A funeral mass was held, Saturday, May 4, at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Bayonne. Burial followed at the Calvary Cemetery, 2324 East Main Street, Waterbury, CT. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the St.Vincent’s Food Pantry and please say prayers for his family.
