HOBOKEN — Who would want to run for office in Hoboken and potentially give up a prestigious career in reality shows?
Radar Online reported on Monday that “The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Caroline Manzo has downsized from a sprawling mansion to an tiny apartment [in Hoboken] and the reason why turns out to be a purely political move. …it looks like Caroline is expecting one of her son’s sic to throw their hat into the political arena…[A source said], “Albert’s good friend that was the Passaic County Sheriff is no longer in office, but Al is friends with the Hudson County Sheriff. Albert wanted to move to a county where his friend has power, because he is used to getting the favors he had in the past.”
Nonsense. Politicians don’t do favors in Hudson County.
Well, the upcoming Hoboken mayor/council election would make a good reality show for sure. Are you listening, Andy Cohen? But maybe Albie or Chris wants to run for U.S. Senate in October. Or something countywide.
