A funeral service was held June 24 at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington, for Nellie Frances Brown (nee Lowe), 79. She died June 17, 2013 at the St. Marks Assisted Living Facility in Palm Harbor, Florida. Born in Ft. White Florida, she lived in Jersey City, for 54 years before moving back to Florida in 2007. She worked for many years as the front office manager of several Jersey City hotels. She was the wife of the late Andrew Brown and the late Sanford Weiss, the mother of Theresa Brown Muller and her husband Bill of Palm Harbor, Florida and the late Bernadette Brown, the grandmother of Christopher Lundy of Jersey City, the sister of Bonnie Long of Tampa, Florida and Linda Wheeler of O’Brien, Florida, the aunt of Fred Herndon and his wife Judy of Hamburg, Shirley Wheelhan and her husband Chuck, and the great aunt of Lisa, all of Brandon, Florida. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews and extended family members. Services arranged by Parow Funeral Home, North Arlington.
