To the Editor:
I want to thank Bayonne High School for making an upsetting mess out of what was supposed to be my daughter’s happy and memorable graduation. What may seem trivial to others really upset my 2013 high-school graduate. Prom pictures were a disappointment. Graduation pictures were no better since they were supposed to get all the graduating students, but seem to have missed so many. The pictures were such a disappointment. The most upsetting thing to my daughter was that her name was spelled incorrectly on the list of Honor Society students and was pronounced incorrectly during the issuing of the diplomas. Her Name is Emily Krupski, not Emily Krupinski. Why would they add two more letters to her name? Who proof-reads their material? She cried during graduation, which broke my heart, and will never be forgotten since I unknowingly captured it in a photo. Today, looking back at her graduation made her cry again. Going through the studio photos online disgusted us. None of that can be undone.
